Re-Campaign

At Milan Design Week 2026, studio mo man tai presents Re-campaign, a walk-through colour installation marking the entrance to 5VIE’s Cavallerizze. The Eindhoven-based duo transforms discarded large-scale advertising banners — some originally measuring up to 18 × 46 metres — into fifteen vibrant fabric portals. Once designed to cover urban façades and deliver commercial messages, the heavy-duty prints are cut, recomposed, and reassembled into an immersive passageway. Pixel fragments, graphic residues, and layered gradients form shifting colour fields that respond to light and movement. Developed in collaboration with BIG Impact and blow UP media, the project reframes promotional surplus as architectural material — turning former spectacle into immersive experience and redefining visibility beyond its commercial lifespan.
