Objects with love - light sculptures

Light sculptures became my friends during the pandemic. In loneliness, I was looking for something to guide me forward. I remembered a red heating bulb from a polar winter in Iceland that helped me deal with depression. So I started making colorful, slightly anthropomorphic light objects out of the vintage glass. Then I discovered filters—and they came alive. They shift colors as day turns into night. It feels like magic, but it’s just physics. They’re about love, joy, and connection. You can choose your own colors or go with my classic sets—there are thousands of combinations. Like candy or antidepressant. They’ve traveled the world, shown in National Museum and galleries. Now, at Alcova Milano 2026, I present SE.3—a white object glowing with a surprising gradient of colors.
