LIGHTS IN TENSION

L / T is a bamboo lamp created by splitting poles into slender strips, allowing the material’s natural flexibility to be used efficiently and without excessive mechanical intervention. The result is a series of soft, slender, lightweight arc lamps that cast a fluid, understated light into the space. Available in three sizes, the arch can stand alone or be repeated according to need or desired effect, making it possible to create striking, scenographic light installations. A flexible linear bulb with a circular profile is housed along the concave inner curve of the bamboo strips, running the full length of the arc. A leather cord, fixed to the ends of the bamboo strips, keeps the structure under tension and maintains its curved form. Stability is ensured by a slim T-shaped base in burnished brass, also circular in section, positioned at either end according to the user’s preference during assembly.
