Events Guide Kantauri Basque Living by Habic and other 9 exhibitors habic.eus [email protected] Kantauri: Grey water. Salt air. Wind against steel and wood KANTAURI, the Basque name for the Cantabrian Sea, reveals a living culture of making, where industry, architecture, and material experimentation evolve together. Here, objects are not isolated results. Inside the installation, designed by Arquimaña, objects appear together with the processes and materials that generate them — from advanced manufacturing to emerging biomaterials and circular resources already transforming production today. Contributions from companies such as Sellex and experimental practices like Muka Design Lab and Basque Bio Design Center reflect this transition, together with the presence of L35 Architects, the Spanish General Council of Interior Design / Decoration, and Aitor García de Vicuña discussing the value of creative teams within companies. Architecture also plays a central role through the presence of Mugak / Basque Country International Architecture Biennial, a platform connecting architecture, industry, and society through installations, workshops, and public debate. Every two years, Mugak opens a shared space to question limits and explore the boundaries of architecture.
