In Situ

In Situ approaches furniture as reduced architecture: fragments of larger spatial systems condensed into objects. Stepped volumes, arches, and load-bearing forms are reassembled through proportion, repetition, and weight. Texture takes precedence over colour; surfaces reveal themselves through light, shadow, reflection, and touch. Wood appears not as finish but as substance: with grain, density, and memory. Its surfaces shift between precision and abrasion, between controlled geometry and traces of manual intervention. These gestures echo a Zeitgeist where structure was carved from mass, extended here through contemporary tools.
