Cosmic Meadow

In occasion of Milano Design Week 2026, SWING Design Gallery - founded and directed by Angela da Silva - presents at 5VIE the installation ‘ Cosmic Meadow’ by Australian ceramic artist Elizabeth Lewis. This collection of hand built ceramics considers the surrealism of biomorphic forms in ancient sculpture and architecture. Looking at animals and mythology, these vessels depart from where natural processes of ruin and calcification, make an object more interesting in its obscurity. Colourful vases adorned with unrecognisable creatures and knotted serpents situate themselves in this installation working in collaboration with the unique architecture of the Cavallerizze building.
