An-tropico for Besana Carpet Lab

Gupica presents An-tropico , an installation created for Besana Carpet Lab that explores the relationship between humans, nature and space. The Bambù collection of lamps, produced by the designer, and the Traccia carpet for Besana Carpet Lab, are the focal points of imagery that’s undeniably exotic, but far removed from literal representations of the term. Here, “tropical” is reinterpreted in a contemporary way, through a designed habitat where human intervention strips away the superfluous, conveying a rarefied sort of exoticism.
