TIPSTUDIO

Founded in 2019 TIPSTUDIO is Imma Matera + Tommaso Lucarini, a creative duo based in

Florence and Pietrasanta. The studio is driven by a material research with a more poetic process

to investigate and explore new universes.

They are determined to transform any idea into a narrative project to catch emotions.

They believe that through in-depth research of processes and territories they can create simple

and unique objects. The form is just the shape of the process. It becomes the output of a path of

experimentation on material and immaterial values trying to interpret the design of today.

Their works come from the blending of anthropological aspects, conceptual analysis and

territories in a continuous intertwining between the poetry of Matera with the materiality of

Pietrasanta.

Both graduated in design at La Sapienza in Rome and ISIA Firenze respectively, they met in 2017

after their studies. The studio engages in self-initiated products as well as commissioned work or

limited editions, with a range of projects extending from products to collectible designs.

In 2022 they were selected among Talent on show 2022 by Elle Decor.

A shared vision, their complementary and a good complicity bring them together.

Currently TIPSTUDIO works across different disciplines, with galleries and private collectors to

create new products, unique pieces and concepts in a continuous journey.
