EEMYUN KANG

Eemyun Kang is an artist who creates paintings that explore states of sensation and memory through layered colour and

material. Rather than constructing defined forms, her work unfolds through diffused colour and subtle

gestures, revealing a landscape that exists before form takes shape. Her paintings evoke traces of time and

memory, navigating between the material and the immaterial, and opening a space for the viewer’s own

experience. Born in Busan, South Korea, she studied at the Slade School of Fine Art and the Royal

Academy Schools in London, and is now based in Milan, working internationally.
